Overview

ATG Trees is a tool you can use to create custom DHTML (JavaScript) tree menus for your Web pages.

No knowledge of DHTML or JavaScript is required!

You can easily create:

  • custom DHTML tree menus;
  • trees, just like in MS Windows Explorer;
  • expandable/collapsible lists;
  • tables of contents;
  • web site maps;
  • and much more custom trees for web site navigation.

ATG Trees main features are the following:

  • easy design and creation of custom cross-browser DHTML (JavaScript) tree menus for your Web pages. The trees can have:
    • lines (dotted or solid) connecting the tree nodes;
    • plus/minus images for expanding/collapsing tree nodes;
    • custom images (icons) associated with each tree node;
    • tree node links (URLs to HTML pages or JavaScript commands).
  • tree preview in a separate browser-like window;
  • fully automated and configurable export of the trees to HTML pages;
  • four different styles (one for each state - default, hover, selected and hover selected) with which you can easily control the appearance of each node - font family, font size, color, background, etc.;
  • control over the behavior of the tree when the user clicks on the image or the text of a tree node;
  • use of different status text when the user moves the mouse over the elements of the tree and the nodes;
  • more than a hundred images in ATG Trees Gallery that you can use to design your own trees;
  • a number of sample projects that can serve you as a starting point for building your trees.
  • and many additional features, such as picking and painting styles, sorted trees, full row selection, autocollapse of sibling nodes, show/hide of root lines, etc.
